Evaluaation of country?s competitiveness depends on business structures: Ministry of Economy

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ A workshop on the state policy and measures, aimed at the promotion of competitiveness of Kazakhstan has been held today in the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning with participation of reps of business community, Kazinform reports.

?Fulfillment of the President?s task on joining 50 most competitive countries of the world lies not in taking formal places in international ratings, but in achievement of the level of world standards in the broad spectrum of social life and increase of competitiveness?, Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Marat Kusainov said. ?At the same time, the assessment made by well-known credit rating agencies in respect of our country, make it possible to identify and classify the problems and challenges, as well as use them for statistical management of the economy and in the daily work of a public authority", M. Kusainov noted. Main directions of the Kazakh economy were explained to the reps of business structures within the workshop.
