Every month Kazakhstan exports 15-20 thousand tons of wheat flour to Afghanistan
ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan monthly exports to Afghanistan for about 15-20 thousand tons of wheat flour. That has been announced today at the business meeting of business community of the two countries, the chief expert of the Centre for Modern Afghanistan, General Director of "Kazindustriya" LLP Mohammad Daud.
"Actually the price of wheat for Afghanistan is governed based on Kazakh products, because 70% of wheat, of all the products are from Kazakhstan. As for oil, I would say that they take the second place in the share of imports, " said Mohammad Daud.
In his opinion, Kazakhstan is an attractive country for investment of Afghan businessmen.
"Kazakhstan has created a very good investment climate, many Afghan businesspeople wish to invest in the local economy. But it is necessary to ensure access for business travelers who really want to work here. For example, one of the problems is connected with visas, " he added.
In 2012, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 321.5 million dollars.
