Ex-policeman convicted of killing a woman

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM An ex-policeman of the South Kazakhstan region has been convicted of killing a woman.Two men were sentenced after pleading guilty to murdering a young woman last October.

The criminals were watching and waiting for the woman near the bank as she was drawing there a large amount of money. One of the men, the 23-year-old ex-policeman, knew about the financing transaction for he was freinds with her husband. The culprits forced her into the car, drove her to the city outskirts, strangled her and threw her body to Syrdariya River. The ex-policeman was sentenced to 18 years in prison, his crime partner jailed for 16 years.
