Exhibition of new innovative technologies kicks off in Almaty

ALMATY. November 12. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ An exhibition of innovative technologies of "BASF" concern has been opened in Almaty Thursday.

New technologies in the field of construction, pulp and paper industry, innovative systems and technologies for oil related service and oil refining, admixtures, plants protection, gas purification technologies, energy-saving technologies, etc. are exhibited.

"Innovations development is a part of the strategy of our company aimed at successful development of the Kazakh industry and the industries of the CIS member states. Over EUR 400 mln was invested by our company to the processes of energy saving, resources conservation and new technologies development, over 1 300 licenses for new chemical inventions were registered in 2008", Director of "BASF" business center in Russia and the CIS member states Sergey Andreyev said.
