Experience of Kazakhstan in economic sphere deserves detailed study - Speaker of Lebanese Parliament

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Charge d'affaires of Kazakhstan in Lebanon D. Yemberdiyev held a meeting with Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri. The sides discussed the issues of strengthening of bilateral cooperation.

"The Kazakhstani diplomat informed his interlocutor about the main goals of the 5 th Congress of World and Traditional Religions, which is scheduled for June 10-11 in Astana, provisions of the President's Address to the Nation "Nurly Zhol - Path to Future" and about the international exhibition EXPO-2017," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon highly praised the work of the Congress, new economic policy of Kazakhstan. He also noted that the experience of Kazakhstan in the economic sphere deserves detailed study, especially in terms of establishment of the Fund of National Welfare.

"The Kazakhstani model of interreligious accord has a special place in the entire world. All the initiatives of President N. Nazarbayev in the political, economic and religious spheres are truly wise and they are smartly realized. I admire the work your president does in terms of preserving good-neighborly relations with neighbor counties, especially such a great power as Russia. I think the contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev is underestimated. Every citizen of Kazakhstan has to be proud of their President," N. Berri said.
