Experts discuss prospects of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan, Russia, EU

ALMATY. October 22. KAZINFORM /Serik Koibagarov/   The prospects of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan, Russia and the European Union are discussed today at the international conference in the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the Kazakh President.  

The co-organizers of the conference are the Russia Public Policy Center and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Germany).

The relevance of the conference is conditioned by the necessity to elaborate common approaches of the parties in the field of security and energy that will contribute to the political, economic and social development of the countries of Central Asia. According to the national experts, Kazakhstan is successfully developing partnership relations with Russia and the EU countries can play role of a link in the relationships between Russia and the EU in Central Asian region.

Leading experts of state and independent analytical structures of Kazakhstan, Russia and the EU, representatives of the international organizations and diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan take part in the conference.

The conference will be finished on October 23.
