EXPO-2017 to strengthen Kazakhstan's potential: Senate Speaker

ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM "I am proud of the fact that Astana has become the host city of the international exhibition EXPO-2017," Kazakh Senate Speaker Kairat Mami declared via his blog.

According to K. Mami, this is a recognition of President Nazarbayev's wise policy aimed at building a successful modern state.

"Astana is the place where cultures and civilizations meet. From now it is also the crossroads of the advanced technologies.

I am sure Kazakhstan will hold the exhibition at the highest level. EXPO-2017 will strengthen country's industrial and innovative potential," the blog reads.

"Thanks to the EXPO-2017 event, we will once again open our dynamic and hospitable Kazakhstan to the world," the Kazakh Senate Speaker adds.
