Exports of Azerbaijani agricultural products to western Kazakhstan eyed in Baku
During the meeting, Mr. Mustafayev stressed that relations between the two countries were traditionally based on the principles of mutual trust and effective cooperation reinforced by reciprocal visits of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and ongoing negotiation process.
He also pointed out there was a large regulatory framework between the countries and more than 20 bilateral documents were inked only in the sphere of economy.
Mr. Aidarbayev, in turn, noted Kazakhstan was interested in further expansion of partnership with Azerbaijan. He informed the Azerbaijani minister of economic projects that were underway in Kazakhstan.
The sides exchanged views on further development of cooperation - exports of Azerbaijani agricultural products to western Kazakhstan and construction of a logistic center for that purpose, discussed exchange of information on investment projects and many other issues.
During his stay in Baku, Mangystau region governor Aidarbayev also had a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev and head of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Rovnag Abdullayev.
