ASTANA. November 26. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The fact that 11 years later heads of OSCE member states will gather in Astana shows their political will to promote further the Organization's work, strengthen their duties and set strategic tasks for the future. Head of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the OSCE Renatas Norkus has announced it.

As he emphasized, participation of the civil society in the OSCE activity is very valuable, and this distinguishes the OSCE from other organizations.

"The governments forced to listen criticism, if they do not fulfill their obligations. It is an important part of the OSCE work", Renatas Norkus noted.

According to him, the Summit gives opportunity to consider fulfillment of obligations and work of the governments.

"I would like to appeal for lighting the situation on implementation of the OSCE principles in human dimension by the participating states in general terms", he resumed.
