Families of Kazakhstani victims in hostel fire to receive KZT1mln
The families of the Kazakhstanis killed in the hostel fire in Almaty are to receive financial assistance to the tune of KZT1mln, the corresponding order was signed by Yerbolat Dossasyev, mayor of Almaty city, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Upon the instruction of the city’s mayor Yerbolat Dossayev, the financial assistance worth KZT1mln is to be provided to the families of those killed in the fire. Also, as was informed earlier, upon the mayor’s instruction, assistance will be provided in transporting the bodies of those killed to the places requested by the relatives, including to other regions of the country, said Aidar Zhakibayev, head of Almalinskiy district of the city.
In addition, full assistance is to be provided in holding the funerals within the territory of Almaty city.
The families of the foreign nationals killed in the fire is to be assisted in the transportation of the bodies to the burial places.
Earlier this morning, the fire engulfed one of the hostels in Almaty, killing 13.
