Families of Nov 9 warehouse fire victims to receive KZT 1 mln each
"The tragedy took lives of 14 people. This is an unprecedented case for Astana and it requires adoption of adequate measures by the state as well psychological and financial support of the victims' families", Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov said.
Municipal administration of labor and social programs was imposed responsibility for distribution of the reserve's funds.
Head of the administration Alma Altybayev was charged to submit the list of receivers of the aid and define their personal accounts as soon as possible.
As is known, the fire broke out in Astana's industrial zone on November 9. 14 people - 9 men and 5 women - died as a result. 4 victims were from Russia. Officials say their death was caused by poisoning with carbon monoxide. The fire covered the area of 8,000 sq m. the total area of the project is 10,000 sq m.
