Family of four died under unclear circumstances in Akmola region, criminal case initiated

A family of four died under unclear circumstances in the city of Kokshetau, Akmola region. The bodies of a husband and a wife and their two children aged 5 and 11 were found at their house, Kazinform News Agency reports.

As the rescuers said, no traces of carbon monoxide were detected in the air. 

Police launched an investigation. A forensic expert investigation is underway.

Further information cannot be disclosed under Article 20 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Kazakhstan, police said in a statement.

Recall that on November 17, a gas explosion occurred in the village of Sabyndy in Korgalzhyn district, resulting in the deaths of three people.
