Famous Kazakh artist Krym Altynbekov awarded ‘Knight's Cross’ in Hungary

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Famous Kazakh artist Krym Altynbekov has been awarded "Knight's Cross" order in Hungary, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan informs.

Hungarian President Janos Ader awarded prominent Kazakh artist and restorer, founder and director of the Scientific and restoration laboratory "The Island of Krym", a member of the Artists' Union of Kazakhstan, Academician of the Academy of Arts named after Krym Altynbekov, "Knight's Cross" order in appreciation of his merits for preservation of cultural heritage. Minister of Regional Development of Hungary Sandor Fazekas presented K.Altynbekov the order on behalf of the President of Hungary March 14. Exhibitions of Altynbekov's works themed "Culture of great steppe" was held in the Hungarian capital Budapest as well as in major cities of the country such as Debrecen, Keszthely and Balatonszemes.
