Farmers to receive up to 80% compensation for construction of wells for livestock - Agriculture Ministry
ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM - Starting from 2014 the Kazakh government will reimburse up to 80 % of the costs incurred by farmers for the construction of wells in the distant pastures, Vice Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Issayeva told a board meeting of the ministry, according to the web-site of the Prime Minister.

"Starting from 2014 within the framework of the program "Agribusiness 2020" farmers will receive compensation of up to 80% of their costs for the construction of wells in the distant pastures and infrastructure upgrades that will maximize the potential of rangelands, and will allow to solve the problem of stock watering," Issayeva said.
In addition, she noted that one of the main challenges in agriculture today is to increase the renewability of outdated agricultural machinery.
For this purpose the ministry developed a tool to subsidize the cost of material and technical re-equipment of farmers.
