Fatal road accident kills 9 in S Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A deadly car crash happened in the Zhambyl region Sunday evening, the Ministry of Emergencies reports.
A VanHool passenger bus with 55 people traveling in it and a Mercedes bus with passengers onboard collided on a highway linking the cities of Almaty and Tashkent. The ministry says, the Mercedes bus driver and eight passengers, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, died at the scene. Another 11 passengers, the citizens of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, were rushed to a local hospital with various injuries by paramedics.
