FC Shakhter Karagandy crowned most popular in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM Sports.kz web portal has asked its readers to vote for their favorite football club in order to named the most popular one in Kazakhstan.

Recent shocker of the UEFA Champions League FC Shakhter Karagandy predictably landed on the №1 spot with 40.1% of votes, followed by many-times champion FC Aktobe (22%) and FC Irtysh from Pavlodar (7.9%).

FC Kairat Almaty and Ordabasy from Shymkent also made it into the top 5 football clubs in Kazakhstan.
