FEAM initiatives should become significant contribution in int'l humanitarian coop development - D.Medvedev

TANA November 21. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of Russia Alexei Malinin has read out a welcoming address of President Dmitry Medvedev at the opening of the Forum of European and Asian Media (FEAM).

In his address D.Medvedev outlined that FEAM-2011 initiatives should become "significant contribution into development of international humanitarian cooperation".

"Dear friends! I am glad to welcome you at the Forum of European and Asian Media, which is held in the capital of friendly Kazakhstan - Astana," the Russian President noted.

According to D.Medvedev, today in the period of dynamical development of communications and new technologies, mass media audience has increased significantly.

"I believe that initiatives of your forum will be in demand in practice and will be significant contribution in development of international humanitarian cooperation. I wish you fruitful discussion and all the best," the Russian President's address reads.
