Fervent heat, occasionally showers possible in regions of Kazakhstan

Inclement weather is forecast to persist in most of Kazakhstan due to a slow-moving southern cyclone. Showers with thunderstorms, hail, stiff wind and heavy downpours are expected in the north, east, center, mountainous parts of the country, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Kazhydromet.

According to the national weather agency, only southwestern Kazakhstan will see weather without precipitation. Fog will blanket the north, northwest and center of the country at night and early in the morning.

Fervent heat will grip Atyrau, Mangistau, and West Kazakhstan regions.

High fire hazard is predicted in Atyrau, west, north and south of West Kazakhstan, west and southeast of Zhambyl, southwest of Aktobe, southeast of East Kazakhstan, east of Pavlodar, and west of Ulytau regions.

Chances of extreme fire hazard will be high in Mangistau, southeast, northwest and north of Atyrau, south of Kostanay, south and deserted areas of Turkistan, center and south of Kyzylorda, parts of West Kazakhstan regions.
