Fervent heat to grip five regions of Kazakhstan Jun 30

Unstable weather with rain will stay in most regions of Kazakhstan on Sunday, with heavy downpours to hit northwestern areas, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, only southern and western regions will see no precipitation today. Strong wind, thunderstorm, squall and hail will hit across the country. Dust storm is forecast in the south.

Fervent heat will grip Abai, Zhetysu, Almaty, Zhambyl and East Kazakhstan regions in the daytime.

Fire threat will be high in Karaganda, Pavlodar, Abai, Zhetysu regions, in the north and east of Ulytau region, in the west and south of Akmola region, in the south of East Kazakhstan region, in the west of Mangistau region, in the west, south and east of Akmola region.

Turkistan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Almaty, Ulytau regions, north of Mangistau region, south of Kostanay region, south and west of Karaganda region, south of Abai region, north and east of Zhetysu region, west and east of Atyrau region are warned of extremely high fire threat.
