FIA suggests to hold world touring car racing and karting in Kazakhstan

ASTANA April 20. KAZINFORM "International Automobile Federation (FIA) suggests holding large world touring car racing and karting in Kazakhstan," President of the FIA Jean Todt said during the meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh Agency of Sport and Physical Culture Murat Omarov.

Jean Todt said he arrived in Kazakhstan to review the activities of the Federation of Auto and Moto Sports of Kazakhstan, which is representative of the International Automobile Federation. He also said the Federation has a "FIA Actions for Road Safety" program aimed at ensuring safety since 2010.

According to M. Omarov, it is planned to sign certificate on Kazakhstan's joining this program.
