FIFA specialists to train children in Bishkek and Osh
By the end of the year, two coaches of the International Football Federation will arrive in Kyrgyzstan under Arsene Wenger’s The FIFA Talent Development Scheme project, President of the Kyrgyz Federation Union Mederbek Sydykov said, Kabar Agency reports.
“Last year, our country became part of the pilot group: we showed good results and our participation in it was extended. Now we have decided to expand the project, covering the Asylbek Momunov Football Academy in Osh and the academy of the capital’s Ilbirs football club. Funding for this has already been allocated. We are currently negotiating with specialists and expect their arrival before the end of the year,” he said in an interview.
The project has been implementing in Kyrgyzstan since February of this year. Then Spanish coach Daniel Limones arrived in the country. He worked until June. In September, a new contract was signed with him for two years. The specialist trains a team of players born in 2010, which includes the most capable young football players from all over the republic.
Limones holds a UEFA Pro coaching license and worked as an academy coordinator for Atlético Madrid.
