Financial Police Agency of Kazakhstan and Turkey discuss coop prospects

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Financial Police Academy has hosted a round table of the Financial Police Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the leadership of the Turkish National Police (TNP) to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of training, according to the press-service of the agency.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption Andrey Lukin, Deputy Chairman TNP Zeki Chatalkaya, head of Interpol, Europol TNP Rafet Ufuk Onder, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department TNP Mukhlis Nadir Tekin, head of the Intelligence Department TNP Gyurtekin Hussein, Advisor to Ambassador of Turkey for Security Irfan Ozcan, deputy head of the Academy on the organization of research and international cooperation Svetlana Arystambayeva, as well as heads of structural divisions of the academy. During the event the parties highlighted the main aspects of development in the field of training for law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan and Turkey aimed at strengthening bilateral security and counter-terrorism, development of professional cooperation. The parties have also discussed a number of important issues related to information exchange. Particular attention was paid to the enhancement of partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkey in law enforcement.
