Financing of education and healthcare spheres increased 6 and 8.5 times respectively in W Kazakhstan over 10 years

The network of pre-school educational institutions is developing in the region. In 2010 the number of kindergartens reached 440 against 327 in 1995. The number of children provided with opportunity to attend pre-school educational institutions increased from 14,300 to 25,100.
Forty-two education facilities including thirty-six schools were reconstructed and repaired in 2000-2010.
Highly-qualified cardio surgical, oncological, traumatological aid was introduced in the regional healthcare organizations. 41 hospitals, 156 ambulatories and polyclinics are functioning in West Kazakhstan region.
72 healthcare facilities were constructed and reconstructed in the region in 2000-2010.
Demographic indicators have essentially improved in the region. The birth rate increased by 9.7 percent, natural population growth - 1.5 times. The rate of mortality has reduced by 14.4 percent. The life expectancy in West Kazakhstan region increased to 68.6 years in 2009 against 63.9 years in 1995.
In 2010 the number of unemployed people in the region reduced by 41.1 percent against 1995. The unemployment rate fell from 10.8 percent to 5.6 percent. The number of people who found jobs through employment agencies increased by 6.6 times against 1995 (from 2.8 thousand to 18.5 thousand people).
The average salaries in the region increased from KZT 3,616 to KZT 84,080 or 23.3 times. The average per capita income reached KZT 50,001 increasing from KZT 1,405.
