President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public at a press conference held after negotiations with President of Finland Tarja Halonen within the framework of his state visit to Finland; Kazinform reports.

?Kazakhstan needs relationships with Finland. This state occupies its place in the world community. It is one of the leading states with effective innovative strategy in the sphere of education, science, economy. If we want to be a competitive country, it would be useful for us to study and follow its experience,? N.Nazarbayev emphasized. In his speech N.Nazarbayev noted that Finland and Kazakhstan are states with a great economic potential. ?Kazakhstan is rich in mineral resources, ore deposits. Finland is one of the world leaders in the sphere of technologies and education. I think that such exchange of experience will be beneficial for both states?, the Head of the State said.
