Fire at Kazakhstan Hotel in Almaty causes evacuation of 15 guests

ASTANA. February 27. KAZINFORM A fire broke out at a 29-storey building of Kazakhstan Hotel in Almaty yesterday evening.

It is suspected that furniture between the 25th and 26th floor caught the blaze, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The flames were put out by the staff of the hotel before the firefighters arrived. The fire covered an area of 3 square meters and forced evacuation of 15 people. No casualties were reported.
