Fire in homeless shelter in Poland leaves 17 dead, 20 injured

MOSCOW. April 13. KAZINFORM A blaze in a homeless shelter in northwest Poland has left 17 dead and 20 injured, Poland's PAP news agency reported on Monday, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The shelter's administration said that at least 77 homeless people were in the three-storey building in Kamien Pomorski, when the fire broke out late Sunday. The exact number of people thought to have been in the building at the time the fire started, along with the identities of the victims, is being verified, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
