Fire kills three people in N Kazakhstan

Three people were killed in a fire last night. The fire broke out in a private residential house in Stupinka, located in the Shalakyn district of the North Kazakhstan region, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the regional Emergency Situations Department.

Firefighters found the house engulfed in flames upon arrival.

“Three charred bodies were discovered at the scene and their identity is being established. The search for the remaining family members is ongoing. The fire covered an area of about 104 square meters, and the cause is still under investigation. The Head of the Department of Emergency Situations of the North Kazakhstan region Zhomart Askarov is currently at the scene,” the Department of Emergency Situations reported.

As reported earlier, a fire has broken out in a ski resort hotel in Türkiye.
