Fire on Turkish tanker in Bosporus strait extinguished (UPDATE)
ANKARA. KAZINFORM - A fire burning on a tanker in the Bosporus strait has been extinguished, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported on March 6.
The fire broke out on the Yakamoz 5 tanker transporting fuel and sailing under the Turkish flag. An explosion in the engine room of the ship caused the fire.
One crew member of the Yakamoz 5 was injured as a result of the explosion. The fire on the tanker has been extinguished, according to trend.az.
