Fires kill 2, spare 3 in Kazakhstan yesterday
ASTANA. September 4. KAZINFORM A fire destroyed an area of 140 square meters of a single-family house in Aktobe Tuesday morning. It was extinguished in an hour and a half, the Ministry for Emergency Situations reported.

The fire was put out by the Aktobe emergency department unit. The firemen discovered two bodies in the debris - a 41-year-old man and a 85-year-old woman.
Another accident happened in Ust-Kamenogorsk the same day as the fire engulfed an apartment on the 9th floor of a residential complex.
The fire covered an area of 8 square meters and was contained in an hour. The rescue crew evacuated 13 people, including three children. Three adults and one kid were snatched from the fire. As a result of the fire, a woman thought to be in her 80s got carbon monoxide poisoning and was hospitalized.
