First 1357 apartments within 'Nurly Zhol» Program to be commissioned in March

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a sitting focused on the issues of construction of rental housing in the Ukimet Uyi.

As earlier reported, in his Address to the Nation "Nurly Zhol" Program the President of Kazakhstan instructed the Government to build social rental housing and provide it to the population on the lowest possible interest rate with the right to buy it out later.

KZT 250 bln will be allocated for construction and purchasing of housing within "Nurly Zhol" Program. It is planned to build and purchase from developers 29 thousand apartments with the total floor area of 1483 thousand sq meters.

The first 1357 apartments with the total floor area of 76.5 thousand sq meters will be commissioned in Astana, Almaty, Kokshetau, Semey and Kostanay this March already. This year, 8616 apartments with the total floor area of 505.3 thousand sq meters and totaling KZT 78.7 bln will be built and purchased.
