First group of Kazakh space industry professionals left for France for trainings

ALMATY. January 17. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Specialists of Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary National Company JSC have left for France to undergo trainings at enterprises of EADS European concern today. The first group of 24 designers and space hardware testing engineers will be trained in Toulouse.

"The first delegation includes engineers and managers who have obtained technical education in the best higher educational institutions of the world and speak English fluently. Four of them have degrees of candidates of technical sciences. Two persons have masters degrees", President of Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary National Company JSC Gabdullatif Murzakulov said. The cooperation agreement between Kazakhstan and France was achieved on the basis of the strategic partnership of the two states.

According to G.Murzakulov, the agreements on realization of two big space projects were signed during the visit of the French President to Kazakhstan in October 2009. These are the Agreement on establishment of the spacecrafts assembling and testing complex and the Agreement on establishment of the Earth remote sensing system. The agreements provide for technologies transfer and training of specialists of the Kazakh space industry.

He also noted that the Space Industry Development Strategy and Program were developed in Kazakhstan in 2007. "We attracted European technologies to development of the national space industry. We hope that the EADS will help us in absorbing European technologies. The training of our specialists is sponsored by the Kazakh Government", G.Murzakulov said.
