First tranche of Russian loan to build Belarusian nuclear station in Q1 2012
MINSK. December 16. KAZINFORM Belarus plans to get the first tranche of the Russian loan to build the nuclear station in Q1 2012, Belarusian Energy Minister Alexander Ozerets told BelTA.
According to BelTA, the official did not specify the sum but said they were working on it. The exact figure will be known by the end of the year. "We plan to discuss and specify the necessary schedules with Atomstroyexport experts on 21 December," said Alexander Ozerets.
The documents for Russia to lend up to $10 billion to Belarus as a state export loan to build a nuclear power plant were signed in Moscow on 25 November. The general contract for the project is expected to be signed early next year.
