Flag of Year of People's Assembly raised in Pavlodar (PHOTO)

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Despite the low temperature in Pavlodar, members of ethnocultural associations, students, school students and creative community gathered at the square in front of the Friendship House in Pavlodar. They were waiting for the arrival of the Flag of the Year of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan.

Governor of Pavlodar region Kanat Bozumbayev read the welcome speech from President of Kazakhstan and took part in the ceremony of raising of the flag. The all the people who came to see the ceremony could enjoy the concert organized at the square after the flag was hoisted. "Schools of the region also make the date. All education institutions have lessons dedicated to the history of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan with the participation of heads of ethnocultural associations scheduled for February 4-7," deputy head of the department of internal policy Makhabbat Sadvakassova said.
