Flagbearers of Kazakhstan at Asian Winter Games 2025 revealed

At today’s Government meeting Kazakh Tourism and Sport Minister Yerbol Myrzabossynov announced the names of the flagbearers to represent Kazakhstan at the 9th Asian Winter Games 2025 in Harbin, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Adil Beketayev is the master of sports of Kazakhstan, a bronze medalist of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship, and a winner of the World Youth Ice Hockey Championship.

Olga Tikhonova is an international master of sport, a bronze medalist of the Asian Games 2017 in the women’s 3000m short track relay and World Universiade.

The Minister said the uniform sketch designs obtained approval from the Asian Games organizing committee. Earlier the Ministry of Tourism and Sport presented the official outfit of the national team for the 9th Asian Winter Games.

As earlier reported, 139 sportsmen are expected to defend the country’s colors at the Asian Winter Games 2025 in Harbin. Over 1,000 sportsmen from 32 countries will compete in the continental multi-sport event.
