Flooding forecast in Almaty region due to pouring rain

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Emergencies department of Almaty city warns of possible flooding in the city due to torrential rains on Saturday.

"Flooding is expected on some rivers in Almaty region on June 18 due to torrential rains," the department said in a statement.

Meteorologists predict that rainy weather will stay in the region until June 22.
