Floodwaters in Abai region wash away bridge, state of emergency declared

High water levels of the River Ayagoz washed away a bridge on the 20th km of the Ayagoz-Bozai road in Ayagoz district, Abai region, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry.

The akimat of Ayagoz district declared a state of emergency.

The road remains closed.
