Fog to batter Kazakhstan Friday

Mets issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on November 29, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

Most parts of the country remain under the impact of a southern anticyclone and ridge, which will bring weather with precipitation (rand and snow).

Only the country’s north and east are predicted to observe weather without precipitation.

Fog is expected across the country. The country’s south, southeast, and east are also forecast to brace for wind. Black ice is expected in the western and northern parts of the country.

As earlier reported, a storm alert was issued for Astana and 11 regions of Kazakhstan for November 29.

Fog and ice-slick are expected in most of the regions on November 29.
