Foggy, windy conditions forecast in Kazakhstan Nov 23

Rain and snow will hit most parts of the country on Thursday, November 23, while heavy precipitation will batter northwestern, southwestern regions, and mountainous districts of the south and southeast of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

According to Kazhydromet, fog and black ice, as well as strong wind are forecast across the country. Blizzard is expected in northern regions.

Gusty wind up to 23-28 meters per second, sometimes exceeding 30 meters per second will pound south of Kostanay region, south and west of North Kazakhstan region, west, north and east of Akmola region, southwest of Zhambyl region, and mountain passes of Turkistan region.
