Foggy, windy weather forecast in Kazakhstan Dec 30

Most areas of Kazakhstan will see snowfall today, due to the atmospheric fronts moving through the territory of the country, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, ground blizzard is forecast in central and eastern parts, while western and southern regions will be hit by rain and snow. Heavy precipitation will batter southern areas.

Meanwhile, northwestern and southeastern parts will stay under the impact of the anticyclone ridge, with no precipitation forecast.

Foggy and icy road conditions, as well as strong wind are predicted countrywide, the met service adds.
