Food Corporation allocates over KZT 5 bln for spring field work

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - National Company "Food Corporaiton" allocates over 5 bln tenge for spring field work to farmers.

As of March 16, farmers of Kazakhstan received over 1200 proposals totaling almost 10 bln tenge within the program of the Food Corporation by means of spring-summer financing.

As a result of consideration, 1151 of them were approved for financing. They will amount to over 7.7 bln tenge and allow to hold sowing campaign on the territory of 1 million 290 thousand ha, the press service of the company informs.

As earlier reported, KZT 17 bln 650 mln was allocated for implementation of the program.

The farmers have to fulfill their obligations by November 1, 2015.
