Food Corporation shipped to Iran more than 400,000 t of grain

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Over the first 9 months of 2014, "Food corporation" has shipped to Iran more than 400 thousand tons of grain, this has been voiced by the first deputy chairman of the Board Rinat Akberdin.

It is also noted that the commissioning of the new railway line "Uzen-Kyzylkaya- Etrek-Gorgan" will significantly increase the supply of Kazakh grain to Iran. In addition, the new railway line will improve access of Kazakh products to markets in the Persian Gulf. It bears to remind that in November of the current year, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will attend the opening ceremony of the Turkmen-Iranian section of "North-South" international railway.
