Foreign investors to build three plants in Mangystau rgn
AKTAU. KAZINFORM "It is planned to build large manufacturing facilities in the region in an effort to diversify economy," Mangystau region governor Alik Aidarbayev said addressing the meeting on socioeconomic development and further plans. He also briefed on expansion of the investor's geography.
"Indox Samruk Kazakhstan will tune up gas equipment production In the region. The Kazakh-Spanish company will invest EUR 534 mln. The project will provide 3,000 workplaces. Besides, the region and two Malaysian holdings signed agreements on construction of a USD 700 mln methanol plant and channeling USD 200 investment to build a liquefied gas plant," he added.
