Foreign ministers of Arab and Muslim countries to visit China in bid to end war in Gaza Strip
Foreign ministers of the Arab and Muslim countries are heading to China on Monday and later to other countries in a tour that aims to end the war in Gaza, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhad said. According to him, the ministerial committee in charge of the Arab-Islamic summit, has already begun its work. Among its tasks is to develop certain actions to stop the war in Gaza Strip, Kazinform News Agency learned the Saudi Foreign Ministry's account in X.
The tour will be the first step in implementation of the decisions taken at the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit held in November in Riyadh.
The foreign ministers will visit China and other countries “to convey a message of achieving immediate ceasefire and facilitating entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza.”
As reported, the participants of the Summit adopted a resolution, stating that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Palestinian territory in the West Bank of Jordan River. The participants named Israel responsible for the armed conflict in the Strip. The Arab League Countries and the OIC agreed to establish a financial support system to help the Palestinians.
