Foreign Ministry issues announcement for foreign media representatives
Dear representatives of the mass media!
We announce that since the February 27, 2015 the accreditation of journalists to participate in the coverage of early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan appointed on April 26 this year has opened. Resolution of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan On some issues of observers from foreign states, international organizations and representatives of foreign media during the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has determined that foreign journalists and correspondents have the right to observe the elections with the obligatory presence of a certificate of permanent or temporary accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please also be advised that the representative of the foreign media may be accompanied by one translator upon presentation of the identity document of the latter. Please note that the procedure for accreditation of foreign journalists (accepting applications for accreditation) ends five (5) working days prior to the Election Day - April 20, 2015. List of mandatory documents required for accreditation: a letter of the editor in chief on the media organization's letterhead, copy of a passport, completed accreditation form, electronic photography 3x4, brief biographical note. All media representatives wishing to participate in the coverage of the presidential elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan should send a package of the above documents to the following email address: [email protected].
