Foreign Ministry issues statement on results of negotiations of Normandy Quartet
Kazakhstan welcomes the results of the negotiations of the presidents of Russia, Ukraine, France and the Chancellor of Germany in the "Normandy format" held in Minsk on 11 and this year and the signing of a package measures on the implementation of the Minsk agreements by the Contact group. We highly appreciate the efforts of all parties to ensure the peace process. We emphasize the good organization by the Belarusian side of conditions for fruitful negotiations. Kazakhstan calls upon the parties to fully implement the agreements reached, which are aimed at an early ceasefire in the south-east of Ukraine, sustainable and comprehensive solution to the crisis in the country. We hope that the achieved level of confidence will help create the prerequisites and conditions for establishing a trustful dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union.
