Foreign oil companies to bring new technologies to other sectors - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. July 1. KAZIFORM Speaking at the opening of the Kazakh- British Business Forum at the Palace of Independence in Astana, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced that foreign companies working in oil and gas field should bring new technologies to other sectors.

"A lot of British companies, such as British Petroleum, British Gas, Duts Shell work in this sector. They have invested up to USD 12 million in it. And we want them to bring new technologies to non-oil sectors, including construction, infrastructure, health care, education, and science," the Kazakh Leader said.
