Foreign trade turnover reached $91.1bln in 2023
“In January-September 2023, economic growth paces of Kazakhstan made 4.7%. Growth in real sector made 3.7% and in services sector – 5.1%. The biggest growth is observed in construction, trade, and in information and communications. Fixed asset investment growth rate made 12.1%,” said Alibek Kuantyrov, Minister of National Economy, at the government’s meeting today.
According to him, investment inflow in transport and warehousing rose by 59.4%. Trade sector saw a 37.5% rise. In education, growth made 23.7%, in agriculture – 12.9%, in industry – 8.2%, including mining sector – 4.3%.
The highest indicators are reported in Mangistau, Turkistan, Pavlodar and Abai regions.
As per preliminary data, in January-August 2023, the country’s foreign trade turnover increased by 4.2% and reached 91.1 billion US dollars.
Exports made 51.2 billion US dollars. Meanwhile, the export of processed goods made 16.2 billion US dollars.
The import of goods was at 39.8 billion US dollars.
In general, positive trade balance made 11.4 billion US dollars.
