France and Kazakhstan set to boost tourism cooperation

ALAZAR GROUP and Accor Hotel Group of France signed an agreement on mutual  cooperation under the aegis of the Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry, Kazinform News Agency cites the Ministry’s press service.

Kazakh Minister Yermek Marzhikpayev, 1st Vice Minister of National Economy Timur Zhaksylykov, Chief Operating Officer New East Europe, Accor, Alexis Delaroff, and representative of ALAZAR GROUP and Orient Finance Group Ruslan Shaekin attended the solemn signing ceremony.

The Head of State stressed the need to take a package of measures to raise the country’s investment potential and create favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship in the spere of tourism. Capital investments in 2023 made 800 billion tenge that is 1.5 times more as compared to the pervious year of 513 billion tenge. The number of places of accommodation for the first time exceeded 4,000.

As Marzhikpayev said development of the projects with the world’s leading hotel group which has 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and bars, wellness centers and coworking spaces in more than 110 countries will undoubtedly contribute to the development of tourism in Kazakhstan.
