PARIS. May 16. KAZINFORM Government changes continue afoot in France. Outgoing Prime Minister François Fillon left Matignon, the premier's official residence making way for Jean-Marc Ayrault.

The 62-year-old former German teacher and long time ally of President François Hollande will head a cabinet, the names of whom are expected to be announced on Wednesday afternoon, the euronews reports.

It has been reported the cabinet will not include Socialist Party boss Martine Aubry, a veteran who oversaw France's shift to a 35-hour working week despite initial expectations she would be handed a major brief.

The new Prime Minister, who is the president of the Socialists' grouping in the assembly has not, like President Hollande held ministerial office before.

In the ten days since the election victory celebrations it is still unclear who will fill the top government posts. Analysts indicate the new president will opt for moderate social democrats in the key jobs of finance and foreign affairs.
