France, Kazakhstan discuss better training for future veterinarians
ASTANA. November 22. KAZINFORM A delegation of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture visited France on 8-13 November. The visit was organized within the cooperation agreement made between the Government of Kazakhstan and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in July 2012, the ministry's press service reports.

The delegation included reps of the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and the top-ranking agrarian universities training future veterinarians. They visited two veterinary schools in Lyon and Toulouse.
The Kazakh delegation and Director General of the World Organization for Animal Health Dr Bernard Vallat focused on the improvement of training for future veterinarians during the meeting in Toulouse.
The sides agreed on the implementation of a pilot project on mutual exchange of professors and students between the veterinary schools of France and the agrarian universities of Kazakhstan with the financial support of the OIE and the French Embassy in Kazakhstan.
